Quartz crystal singing bowls

	Quartz crystal singing bowls first made their appearance in America for the purpose of growing silicon chips. After manufacture each bowl is tested electronically to discover its particular note.
	To sound the bowl you need a wand. These come in a variety of shapes and sizes. When you buy a singing bowl the appropriate wand comes with it.
	The bowl is first tapped with the wand and then the wand is circled round the rim of the bowl to produce the sound. Larger bowls take a little time for the sound to build up. The bowl represents feminine energy and the wand masculine energy. Therefore when the bowl is played a balance of both masculine and feminine energies is the result and this is captured in all our sprays and essences.
	Bowls can be either clear or frosted. I have both. My clear bowl, called Emily, has a diameter of 170 mm. She sounds the note F to resonate with the heart chakra. This bowl has been used to make all the sprays and essences except for the Celebration spray which was made by 80 people in Victoria, the frosted bowl. Victoria is very big with a diameter of 22 inches and she is also heavy. She has her own padded bag and trolley! Victoria sounds the note C sharp which is resonates with Mother Earth.
